Dear everyone,
Well I didn't get any packages or letters yet but I haven't got
the mail yet today. So it’s probably in the mail today, which is cool. I
am excited for the Christmas spirit and for this season. Already I can feel the
Christmas spirit here. It's really weird because it doesn't really feel
like I'm participating but hopefully we will get some more Christmas lessons
in. This month is supposed to be really good for baptisms soo we will
see. We are doing a good job with baptizing but it should be better,
we are supposed to baptize weekly, or 4 baptism every transfer, that is the
mission standard but it is really hard to do that since they made all our areas
smaller. So we'll have to work harder to do that.
This week was really good though! We had to do a lot of
finding because we were lacking on investigators. We found like 4
potential families! We found a family of 9 haha sooo if we get them that’s like
5 baptism right there. We need to help them see the need for just
believing in one church. This week I am leading in all aspects of the
missionary life so this is where I really get tried. I lead on
most of the lessons but I have to plan all by myself and I am terrible at
planning. It's probably good it makes me work hard.
It is getting kinda cold right now. I still just use the hat that
Grandma Newton gave me and the scarf for warmth. So far if we walk I can still
stay warm, but yesterday it started pouring and we got soaked. It was
great! Luckily we were going home anyways. But I might start wearing
more clothes.
I don't know what I want for Christmas! Maybe some leggings
for me when I am out in the cold cause I don't know what else to put under my
pants. Other than that I don't really need anything. I have
everything I need. I think though I am giving to you Claire and Dan? I'm
going to need some ideas... and I would email me quick because I will
have to send it out next week probably! haha
Oh so this Week Elder Kulu decided to give me some memories to
remember him by. Like I'm ever going to be able to forget him. But we went
through a car wash and he opened my window and locked it! We both got
soaked and the whole inside to the car was wet! haha its a good thing I have
such a great sense of humor. We went home and changed and no damage went to my
suit mom don't worry. And then we were walking back from a ward party with food
and he asked me if I've ever been hit in the back of the head with an
orange. I know Kulu so I started running and sure enough I got hit in the
back of the head with an orange. Now I can say that I have.... Perfect.
Haha well transfers are next week. All is well here. Just trying
to strengthen Zion as the people call it here. But there is more work to be
done here than probably anywhere else. Keep to the faith and don't For Get CPR
spiritually that is. Church Pray and Reading the scriptures!
